I have done the po file move from branch to trunk and remerged then them in trunk. So you can now
start the translations for LyX 1.6.

If I run msgfmt on fr.po in trunk, I get this:
2294 translated messages, 1009 fuzzy translations, 716 untranslated messages.
It seems that fr.po there is outdated wrt the last fr.po in branch:
"POT-Creation-Date: 2008-02-27 13:38+0100\n"
"PO-Revision-Date: 2007-07-18 08:48+0200\n"
So fr.p
