Please, is there a possibility in lyx or in latex type typeset
formulas
like that:
K[X]/ ^
/ (X-k)= K
which ist often used in Algebra ("K[X] modulo Ideal (X-k)"). The right
side should be centered verticaly.
I tried \frac in ly

Thanks for your answer. Your tip is nearly that what i want. The font
should be italic like the other letters in math editor and it should
keep its original size (or that size, which is usually used in
fractions)
I yast got the amsldoc.tex file and will look for that in there. B
