I am a new user, unfamiliar with Latex and Lyx. Is there a web site
where new styles are submitted for download? Specifically, I am looking
for an MLA(Modern Language Association) style for use as undergraduate
in college.

It is very easy, lLook at the documentation, about nesting.
Go to the table, and push the <- -> Buton on the toolbar.

The "Allow Accents on all chars" was added for use with T1 fonts. All
accents found in T1 is enable

to try to make my next conference poster all on one big A0 piece of
paper using using latex. My univ has one of these A0 printers.
