I'd like to add new icons for the toolbar in LyX. Is it possible? If
not, is there a way to add news icons in the LyX code and hack it?

found the error with the BoundingBox warnings.
The latex preamble \usepackage[pdflatex]{graphicx}
was wrong,
\usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx}
made the job.
