I got lyx-1.1.4, I put it on /usr/local/, I put xform-88 in /usr/local
but I must do ./configure --with-extra-lib=/usr/local
What is the standard directory where to put xform-88 ?

This mail answers a trivial question I have asked times ago:
how can one center .latex figures in a float?
This answer is quite obvious, but may help.
It suffices to insert a \center in ERT right before the figure,
within the float.
