my LyX version is 1.1.4 sorry, i forgot to put it in the other mail...

Hi, I've installed SUSE 6.4 on my PC and it comes with lyx 1.1.4fix1. I tried to import a latex-document (from Excel with Excel2Latex)but in the Import-menue the Latex-Option is not available. Any suggestions what to do! Thanks Alex

Custom Export and pdflatex

Stephen, there is a \custom_export_command and a corresponding \custom_export_format switch in /usr/share/lyx/lyxrc.example. You can modify your personal $(HOME)/.lyx/lyxrc file to whatever you want these command to be. I have had a little trouble with the fact that earlier lyx versions store the
