Hi,
I've installed SUSE 6.4 on my PC and it comes with
lyx 1.1.4fix1.
I tried to import a latex-document (from Excel with
Excel2Latex)but in the Import-menue the Latex-Option is not
available.
Any suggestions what to do!

have a look at .lyx/lyxrc if the option for "relyxing"
is valid.

My knoweldge of latex is poor. So I'm sorry if this question looks
stupid.
When in LyX I put subscripts and superscripts after sign of summation ,
in final outpup I get then below and above that sign (for display
equation, of course).
But when I use subscript/superscript after

there is a \custom_export_command and a corresponding \custom_export_format
switch in /usr/share/lyx/lyxrc.example.
You can modify your personal $(HOME)/.lyx/lyxrc file to whatever you want
these command to be.
