You have to mess with the LaTeX preamble-- you can't do it from a menu
somewhere in LyX. (Hey, Toto, we're not in Word anymore!).
Read the documentation on "fancy headers and footers" in the "Customization"
help file. Also, you could look at the documentation included with the
"fancyhdr" package
Hi, I have to do a paper for school and was planning on using Lyx to do
this, but I need to be able to display the Title and Author names in the
header of each page of the document. Is there any way to do this in Lyx
and if so, how? Thanks. -Jeff

Thanks for any response

Hi!
The documentation for the algorithm packacke is indeed sparse. But there
is, in fact, a postscript or latex file somewhere that describes all the
commands available in the algorithm environment. I forgot where I found
it -- probably somewhere under the latex doc tree, or in the AMS
document
Hi,
I finished writing my PhD-thesis some days ago, and now I would like
to finetune the class amsbook that I use (with Lyx 1.1.5fix1 on Linux
and FreeBSD).
If possible, the following should be changed:
1. In the table of contents I prefer dotted lines between the chapter
or section heading
