Hello,
I got some package from the CTAN archive ( .dtx,.ins files)
and the questions is : how can I make them available for
lyx ? Tried to move the .sty files obtained to
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/{package_name}/ but that did not
worked.
The system is a SuSE 7.1 ( lyx 1.1.5fix2 ).

Hi All,
I have been a happy user of LyX for a while. I even write my thesis in LyX.
Now this is my problem ... my University has a standard LaTex style for
research theses, and I wonder how easy or how I can take that style and
create
a LyX equivalent for it ... Can someone show me where to find

Hi all,
I've got a set of tabular data. A considerable amount of the numbers are
negative. I can easily create a table of the appropriate dimensions in lyx
and paste in my data from an editor. However, in the final output, the
negative numbers are preceded by a dash instead of the more appropr
