Perhaps this is inappropriate for this list, as it is actually a LaTeX
question. But here goes . . .
When I export a document to pdf from LyX, the fonts look ragged when viewed,
esp. by Adobe Acrobat Viewer. I looked in Acrobat, and sure enough, my
documents are using type 3 fonts. I would hav
Hi,
just a wish: do you think it would be possible, that LyX would
remember not only names of the last used documents, but also the
position, where the cursor was when lastly closed? Most other
Linux editors are capable of something like that, but not LyX

How can I see a grid or ruler in centimeters or inches of my viewed

My LyX uses xdvi for DVI and gv for postscript and PDF.
I see I can enable a grid with xdvi but it doesn't have incremental
markings and no numbers showing sizes. The manual page doesn't explain it
very well.

Description: application/lyx
I am having some trouble getting BibTeX and the natbib package to work with
LyX. I searched the archive but couldn't find anything that helped. As I
am fairly new to both packages as well as LyX to some extent, I suspect
that the problem is pretty basic.
natbib is declared in the preamble.

Hello.
Why do these two problems always occur to LyX newcomers?
1. ``LaTeX Error: Unknown graphics extension: .eps.''
2. I have a few Type1 fonts that doesn't appear in `Character Style' ->
`Family'. How can I use them? Shouldn't LyX use the fonts loaded in X?
Thanks.
