table of contents. However, the TOC generated
by LyX doesn't put any sections that have a
* in the TOC. I don't want to number my preface
as a chapter, but I do want it in the TOC...

I can define my new environment and it works fine, but there is one

In my figures (graphs) I have some psfrags containing math. I would like
to have these fragments typeset in sans serif, since the nubers in my
graphs are sans serif too. How can I achieve this?

To solve the problem of the display of figure inside lyx 1.2
you have to install the last version of convert which I think is a part of
ImageMagic

Well, if xforms is incomplete so much, why not use another GUI
library? Eg (gtk or Qt, which are available on more platforms)
