When I write a small lyx file (ams, article, unnumbered) (it's attached)
with lyx 1.1.6fix4, I have a mathdisplay as an example environment. Then
the text "example" is not left aligned..should it not be that? It looks ok
in ghostview though. I attach a screenshot so you know what I mean.
Looks like you don't have kghostview or reLyX in your path. Best thing
is to delete ~/.lyx/lyxrc and let it configure itself with the defaults,
then twek any settings you want.

thanks 'Press Enter' was the solution. But I have one additional question.
Now inserting pictures works and the picture is show correct in the pdf/dvi
output, but in lyx it shows an error message ("error converting ro loadable
format") instead of the picture.
I have tried png and ps files.

I have receive a '.cls' and a '.bst' to publish in a journal. The draft of the
article was written using Lyx. Is it possible to create a LyX document class
based on this file, or must I export the LyX in LaTeX and rework the
document?
