You either changed the wrong languages file, or you're trying to insert
it into text/document that isn't Czech.

I don't seem to get LyX to hyphenate correctly. In texconfig I edited
"language.dat" (and enabled dutch hyphenation), and did a rehash. In LyX I
did a reconfigure. But when I view the DVI output it doesn't hyphenate
correctly. In the Latex log I should see that Babel and hyphenation

I am having no luck at all converting a simple set of foiltex slides
into html using "export->html" with the converter set to the default

I've installed cygwin/XFree86, Miktex, and Lyx on my Windows XP system. I can
start Lyx from a desktop icon without any problem, open files, save them etc.
What I can't do is preview or export the files. I go to View and there are no
menu options for DVI, HTML, etc. The first option under View i
