Finally it is working for me. I created the makeindex script and added it into my path. Now i can create nomenclatures without moving out from lyx. However, there is a bit of problem, the makeindex script is not called every time i view the dvi output. I have to add an index and insert the index

The vanilla setup of the 27-70-2003 binary of LyX on Aqua sets the viewers to "open" which would utilize whatever PDF viewer you have designated as the default for the Mac. So apparently I don't have a systemwide default designated. OK If you prefer a viewer other than the system default, change

Hello, I don't get the Euro symbol (ALT Gr+e) in Lyx with a document encoded in latin9. When I oopen the testeuro example file I see only question marks instead of € . Is there any nice looking Euro symbol? I did not succeed in printing it out with the bookman font as it was recommended. Greeti
