Anyone with experience in using LyX for doing Docbook/SGML for documentatins
project? Acording to the manual you need to install sgml-tools - but which
version?

Finally it is working for me. I created the makeindex script and added it into
my path. Now i can create nomenclatures without moving out from lyx.
However, there is a bit of problem, the makeindex script is not called every
time i view the dvi output. I have to add an index and insert the index

Another qn - what do I need to do to the label for the appendix so that when
I cross-reference it, it doesn't say "Section A" and instead says "Appendix
A"?

Eventually lyx will use utf-8 output and UCS-4 internally.

this is a problem of lyx not using unicode unfortunately, I think
The vanilla setup of the 27-70-2003 binary of LyX on Aqua sets the
viewers to "open" which would utilize whatever PDF viewer you have
designated as the default for the Mac.
So apparently I don't have a systemwide default designated. OK
If you prefer a viewer other than the
system default, change
subscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

Is there any nice looking Euro symbol? I did not succeed in printing it out
with the bookman font as it was recommended.
