Ignore my plea for help. Upon further investigation of a seemingly
unrelated update error was in fact pertinent. All is well again with my
version of LyX.

A quick recap. I updated my debian based distribution (Libranet) and
now I can not export a PDF or PS version of my LyX files. I also can
not view a DVI or print my LyX files.

You can find one at:

You have to install first Ghostscript and then install Gsview (the PS
viewer itself).
