I can confirm that rescan 1. works for 1.4.2.svn under windows, which uses the shell version of TeXFile.sh 2. works for 1.4.3svn under linux, which uses the python version 3. does not work for 1.4.2 under windows, which uses the python version. It looks like a windows problem since 1.4.3svn is

Hello, I would be grateful for any help on how to push citations from JabRef into LyX, if that's possible. I'm using LyX 1.4.1 for Windows, and just installed JabRef 2.0.1. I get an error msg about lyxpipe not working when trying to push the citations. Many thanks on this... Denis --
