Hi Benjamin,
I'm not sure that I follow the second question either. What are these PDF
files? Are they multiple pages worth of material, or just a single page of
material? If they are just a single page of material (any you've already sized
them appropriately), I would just add them using th

Dear all, does anybody know how to make in LyX/LaTeX a document that

I assume that you want to use the formatting style of theorems in the
IEEETran class, but with a different document class than that. The way to do
this in LyX is through Modules.
If you check in Document>Settings>Modules, there are several options that
define theorem environments, and guide how th

First, is it possible to define new theorem environments in LyX?
I looked through the help manuals, but could not find anything.
If not possible in LyX, of course I can use latex \newtheorem. Here the
question is, is it possible to make this follow the style of
I failed to mention that I also used the altinstaller.
You are right about the arrow-key workaround. Annoying.
Thank you for the response.
Anyone else?

To insert a matrix in math-mode, I use the shortcut alt+i then h then x.
Now, I realize this may not be the most efficient way to insert a matrix,
but that's how I do it.
I recently upgraded to LyX 1.6.7 (on windows 7), and have found that alt + i
then h does not bring up the math menu. The h is s
