Dear LyXers, forgive the off-topic question, perhpas someone will know the answer. I would like to check the exact font size of the pdf text produced by LyX/Latex. I do believe you can do that with Adobe Acrobat Pro, which, however, I do not own (and it would not run on Linux, anyways). Does

Hello everyone. I am writing a book and want to know if is possible to define a chapter, section or paragraph as hidden. I want to put at the end of each chapter or section or paragraph a text for help teachers in the class. But when print the version for students I do not want these texts be

Steve, All I have available at the moment is LyX 2beta2 for Mac, but in LyX--preferences---Output---General, I have an option Output line length ___. (the default is 65--close to what you estimated) This seems to do what you want, as I've been able use it to change the plain text output from
