Yes I did-- or rather tried to, but I was unable to get the cursor

I have no problem doing that, both by the right arrow key and the

My guess is you want something like this.

You will probably need to create the tables using latex. I am unsure if Lyx
has a specific way of doing what you want. My guess is that you want to
renew the thetable
