I use homebrew as package manager on the mac, and manually installed 2.4.0 RC4 over the app. No drama, rally, a few little hickups here and there, maybe also due to my upgrading basictex. Homebrew then put 2.3.8 on top of that and I only noticed the difference in the Find command, which now opens

I have the 2.3.7 with many files with specific configurations (like Hebrew, special colors, special macros, shortcuts, packages, etc...) if I just download the newer version will it be a seamless transition? or is it more involved than that? I also wonder if it's worth it at all as the changes see
