Hi all,
I'm using BibDesk as my reference package in Lyx. I have set the Lyx options
(Documents Settings) to Natbib: Author-year and the citation style to
[author1] and [author2] ([year]).
Unfortunately, when I produce my PDF file, the reference appears as
[Author1] et [Author2] (2000)
You have your document language in French? If is the case change it to
English
Alex
Do you mean the setting in Documents Settings Language?
Mine is set to English.

Hi all,
how can I remove the lettering of the Appendix?
Example:
When I start the appendix, the PDF output file displays Appendix A. I would
like it to simply show Appendix, and would like cross-references in the text
to show Appendix.
Thanks!
After you 'Start Appendix Here' instead of 'Section' environment use
'Section*' (unnumbered). I guess this should do what you want.

Thanks guys. That was too easy.

I only realized that with the *-version of the appendix, I can no longer
cross-reference it as Appendix in the text (it gets numbered like a normal

Hi,
how does one change the page numbering format to the following:
[Page number] / [Total number of pages]
Example:
At the bottom (center) of the fifth page of the document that has a total of 15
pages, I would like the PDF file to display 5 / 15.
Thanks!

Thanks Steve. Even more basic question, how do I install this package on my Mac?
(I'm a beginner)
Thanks!

Thanks guys.
Hi,
does anyone know how to set the zoom level for when you open the PDF output
file?
I found that the package hyperref is supposed to allow this feature but I don't
know the command.
Does anyone know where to find all the options that can be used in hyperref?
Thanks.

Hi,
does anyone know how to add text to/name a Proposition/Theorem/...?
Example:
Proposition 2 (Main Result) blablabla
I.e. I would like to make (Main Result) part of the proposition definition.
Thanks.
Hi,
how does one change the height of a given row (over multiple columns) in a table
(i.e. without changing the height for any other row)?
Thanks.
