Now this is a bit strange...
I use the hungarian keyboard, but my LANG and similar env variables are set to
C, which seems to be EN, that causes - by default - the toc to be displayed
with small squares instead of the accented chars.
If I have an accented char in the toc then the single-click-tri
Hello all LyX-ers!
First of all: lyx 1.3 is a beauty, nice work, thank you!
The second thing I'm writing for isthat I encountered two small problems while
using 1.3.0 qt on my redhat linux 8.0.
The first is, that when I click on my ToC, I cannot navigate in the document
by double-clicking on (su

Hi
Yes, and then write an übergzip, which would help us for compressing the
class, in order to fill only one cd-rom, and not 24 :)))
Jokes apart: it seems to be a bit complicated, but I will think on it.
At a first glance, I think, that it is not really "compatible" with lyx's

Well, mine too. I also looking for a GUI-based layout designing app some time

Hi all,
Does anybody know a program, that could manage layouts in a wysiwyg-ish

I'll try to explain: Lyx and LaTeX are fantastic apps, but creating or
modifying layouts is a bit hard to do, in any case, harder than it could
(or should) be. What I imagine, is an app, similar to the well-k
Hi all LyXers,
Some months ago, I've seen a document, something like "writing books with
lyx".
It was located on ca.postgresql.org. Some weeks later it disappeared, and
I couldn't find it anywhere. There is also anothe document with exactly
the above mentioned title on troubleshooters.com, but
Hi all,
I have to emphasize some words in my documents by shrinking them, ie
increasing the kerning of it's characters. is there a way to do this, or
do I have to insert "\kern+1en" between every character of such words?
Thanks
best,

Hi all,
My problem concerns LyX-LaTeX-TeX font encodings and input encodings,
including KDE, X, LaTeX and, of course, LyX. It is a bit complicated (at
least, for me), so I'll try to explain it in a relatively long form,
repeating the questions in a shorter form at the end of this letter.

Hi all,
I'm new on this list, and I would like to ask some questions (in the hope
they can be answered :-)).
1) When will LyX v. 1.2 be released?
2) Which new features will there be in this new version? I've read
tasks.php3 on the LyX site I found a plenty of information about what
should b
