In a scriptum I need to mark the examples specially
with a vertical line on the left side of these paragraphes.
Is it possible to draw such a line from a certain text
position to a defined end position (if necessary over
multiple pages? )

For some technical formulae I need to have the
Symbol for Laplace (a nice big "L" in script style) and
for the z-transform a nice big "Z" also in script style.
Do these two characters exist in some math-package,

Hi
I need to reset the page numbering at each
new chapter beginning.
So I added \@addtoreset{page}{chapter}
to the preamble of Lyx.
But now, Tex starts the numbering at 0
but I need to start numbering with
the number 1.
How can I do that.
