Thanks to everyone for the help and time spent on my install problem.

First, I checked textclass.lst: it's there and non-zero.
Second, I replace sed.
Third, I type configure at the c:\lyx32\share\lyx> DOS prompt and get: a

I have noticed that when I create a PDF and thend print it the margins
are larger (and consequently the text is smaller) than if I printed the
document directly. I don't have this problem when I create and then
print a PS file. This is not strictly a LyX problem, as I have noticed

Ignore my plea for help. Upon further investigation of a seemingly
unrelated update error was in fact pertinent. All is well again with my
version of LyX.

A quick recap. I updated my debian based distribution (Libranet) and
now I can not export a PDF or PS version of my LyX files. I also can
not view a DVI or print my LyX files.
They are all there.

Did you run texhash, or whatever utility your TeX distribution uses to
update its file lists, after you did the package upgrade? If not, run
that first, then reconfigure LyX, and see what happens.

When cutting and pasting from gnumeric, I would create a table in LyX

When I was working on my thesis, I would save my Excel files as a .csv
file and then open them with gnumeric. I would create an empty table in
