Here is an (nonsense-text) example, but any "new" file can't produce pdf.

It is exactly the same error on Mac (Yosemite) and (I wanted to "test" it on my home computer after failing at work...) Windows (8).
And again after updating yesterday the Lyx on both PC, so in both cases the newest version.
And, before this error happened, I pasted some sentences out of

I am a new user of Lyx, and am trying to put some equations into a box. I
have already written the equations, so I was trying to insert some LateX
instructions to add the box to each equation separately. But so far I didn't
manage to get it to work. Any suggestion?
