I think there's a bug when you import the following type of
equation label to lyx:
(here's the original piece of latex code,
1'st the label)
\begin{equation} \label{eq:syst_1}
y(t)+A_1 y(t-1)=B_0 u(t-1)+
e(t)+C_1 e(t-1),
\end{equation}
(and then the refere
One solution (which i have already posted to this lyx-users list) is to
find out the proper
rpm's for RedHat. After installing xforms and lyx using glint in RedHat
5.2, kernel 2.0.36
i got rid of exactly similar messages in my system. Then what is the
difference in
source code level ? I have no i
I had exactly the same behaviour with Lyx 1.0.1. My system is
RedHat 5.2. I finally found rpm's of xforms and lyx made for RedHat.
So i uninstalled earlier rpm's taken from some Suse-distribution or
something and installed these new ones. For un/installation i used
glint. I haven't had any problem

I've just succeeded in getting Lyx to work somehow.
My system is RedHat 5.2 and i had to link some library files to the
appropriate
directories before it started to work (xforms, if i remember correctly, i
just guessed their location).
I did the rpm-installation with glint.
