corrupting files when typing during autosave?

and I think I have discovered that the corruption happens when I am typing during an autosave (note that the LyX file on which I work is very large: currently 2.4 Mo). However, I have no test case, and I cannot give you my file that is personal. Do you know about this problem? Thanks, TP PS:

svg clipped to the right size. Is it the method indicated in the LyX Wiki (see my first post)? It is a bit cumbersome.
