with lyx 1.04pre8 and kde (1.1 I beg, kde help doesn't even give the
kde version !) I had resized the lyx window. Gone away from kde then load it
again : I got the usual size lyx window with a bottom extension : the frame had
the same previous size I gave, so there was a white place
really impressed ! a day or so the answer will come before the question !

lyx is a really impressive package. However the average user is never satisfied
and I see some features may be not to difficult to add...
add an option in edit/special character : page jump. it's a simple \newpage,
but more I use lyx less I remember LaTeX syntax :-)

world cab read 8bits righ now? I'm french and 8 bits addicted, but sometime
it's better to follow the rules...
