so I did, and it did build. If you are a RH user, get the xforms 88
from lyx's contrib dir, and then try this one:

I just posted my program that creates test data in the form of large Lyx
books. Also posted there is a Vim script that converts a tab-defined outline
to Lyx headings. These programs are quick and dirty, but they worked for me.
