I just seemed to have solved the problem, by changing the option for viewing
(tools-preferences-File formats-pdf(pdflatex))to auto from pdfview. I am
on Vista Home Premium 64-bit (SP2). Hope this helps,

pdflatex or ps2pdf, the PDF file is created in the temp folder, Acrobat X
starts but does not load the file. Where can I configure the options for
