Is there a way to increase the space between text in a table and the
rule above it for a whole table in one step? (I mean without using an
invisible rule in each cell?)

no, you need an invisible rule in ONE cell per row, not in every
cell.

no, you need an invisible rule in ONE cell per row, not in every
cell.
