I've made some changes in the port to Win32 in both release 1.1.4fix1 and
1.1.4fix2! These new ports are available at

The changes refer to missing images while previewing due to missing drive
letters for all DOS/Win32 programs called and to the misbehaviour of LyX
when deleteing error boxes after a LaTeX run (then some of your typed
charactres were deleted, too).
