This is indeed a bug. It has already been fixed in cvs, and will be
ok in 1.1.6fix1 when it comes out.

instead of \include{file}. This is what LaTeX complains about.
The problem is easily reproducible. Create a LyX file, include another
LyX file via Insert->I
