Inserting 1/2, 3/4, etc. characters

Never mind. The problem I was experiencing was when I was using the keyboard combinations to enter the fractional numbers, they were showing up as rectangle boxes in LyX, but it I used the Character Palette and pasted the fractions in that way that seemed to solve the problem. Sorry for the
