Hi, I'm noticed problems with tables using LyX 2.0.0beta2: I've created a table with fixed column widths: a wide column (14cm) and two small column (1,1cm). The entered text in these columns does only appear when I leave the column. I have to enter the text blindly. My figure setup

Stephan, Sorry, my second description it was essentially the same problem but badly described. After a refresh the text appears. The refresh could be forced (tabbing into a new cell) or is done after some time automatically. So at least I understood it reading ticke +7164. Peter
