Rotating images

Dear LyX-users, could you please explain me how to omit the blank area from rotating images? I have imported an eps/ps figure created by xmgrace. Without rotate command, the image will be landscape... If the rotate command activated, lyx1.2 add a blank area. Let's see the following scheme
