Dear LyXers, in my teaching documents, terms like $1 \cdot 1$ are regularely required. In Germany, the \cdot (·) is the common multiplication operator and it is also available on the keyboard as [AltGr ,]. Unfortunately, pressing [AltGr ,] in mathed inserts \text{·} instead of \cdot. (This is
