Hi,
just tried to define a new textclass by writing a .layout file which
refers to some LaTeX style file.
It would be helpful to have all needed files in the working directory
1) for testing purposes
2) for sharing special textclasses
It doesn't seem to work.
Although kpsewhich 'sees' all local tex related files, reconfigure in
LyX does not generate the desired text class.
Only when the .layout file resides in ~/.lyx/layouts, reconfigure seems
to work.
Am I missing something?
I vaguely remember some discussion in this list on these topics some
time ago.
