Your problem might be related to the fontconfig version. On Solaris 10
you can check that by issuing the following command:
egrep "MAJOR|MINOR|REVISION" /usr/include/fontconfig/fontconfig.h

You almost certainly are running the wrong XForms library. You need a
version compiled for glibc-2.1 while you are probably running one for
glibc-2.0.

but I must do ./configure --with-extra-lib=/usr/local
What is the standard directory where to put xform-88 ?
