I am writing a two column book. I want to change a table, which is to broad for
one column, to longtable. Do I have to
insert-> floats -> wide table float
copy the content of the former table float
into the new wide table float
or is there a shortcut where I just somehow tell Lyx to change the

I tried copying the content of the normal table by cutting it but get the

don´t know what to do with half floats´
