All,
I switched the Personal Libraries back to PHP 5 and also sent a help
request to LizardHill to fix the broken FTP access for the files on the
whtech FTP server. Hopefully I can get this resolved fairly soon.

:) Ok, maybe not 50, but I'll take some. Here are a few while I'm working

If you did not want to use the Libero method you could use a 74HC148 (or
similar) 8 to 3 line priority decoder and put the 4 CSx- lines into the upper
or lower 4 inputs of the ‘148. That would recreate 2 address lines and a new
CS- for the 8Kx8 SRAM. It could all mount on a proto-board and not
and yes I'd prefer another quad but those haven't been available for a
while :)

That is my recollection as well. So View80 looks to be the only solution. It
works from the ROM but I don't normally have that ROM installed and having the
RAM version would be great.

Oh yeah. I remember Gary saying he was going to port Ultrascreen to NEC but
I don’t think he did.

Ultrascreen is a similar utility. But it was my understanding that it didn't
exist for the NEC 8201. If it does then I'd certainly be interested in it. I
don't have access to Club100 here at work but I'll check tonight.

It needs more than just remapping the signals; the required upper two address

Is it the same as Ultrascreen? I have some old emails that show it as being
available in Club100 personal library of Gary Weber.
I can't open the link due to Club100 issue

Maybe another member has it.

Does anyone happen to have the stand alone (RAM) version of View80. I know
it's in the UR-2 ROM but I believe that it existed as a stand alone CO file as
well.

thanks! It seems like we should be able to use the 8x8 chip from the 102
with some kludging of lines.. they are pretty close..

There are at least a few different "build your own ram upgrade" articles on
club100 and other archives of old forum posts, and in magazines too I think
but those are hard to search.
Here's one that is not one of the old original ones I was thinking of, but
looks ok.
