With all these little iterations testing different pcb versions of rex
and teeprom, I'm getting quite good at de-soldering!
I've removed all the parts from perfectly working rex's, and reinstalled
them on other pcb's several times now, using SRA's version of Chipquick.

I think it's going to work.
This is an early version I just got in yesterday.
That is a microscopic mount of bite at the top-right corner, but, it's
not zero, and I have managed to increase that a little since then, I
hope, but mostly I just realized, that may just not be that big of a deal.

I'll check but I believe JLCPCB has even tighter minimum spacing/dimensions
than Oshpark.
I think gold plating is an option there as well.
They built the boards in 1 day, and shipping was 2 weeks.

I have noticed the same with the router cuts. They aren't always too
accurate relative to the other operations. The router path will be good
in relation to itself, but can be shifted off from everything else.
Every operation can be a little off from every other. I have had pretty
good luck so f
great point, for small boards the difference is minor.
However, I will say that at minimum geometries I have had some concerns
with Oshpark on their registration accuracy. Sometimes drills are not
centered.
I have yet to fail a board however.

I ended up going the OSH Park route. I was pleasantly surprised to find out
that it costs the same $6.30 if you order 1 board or 3 boards. Plus I chose
the free shipping.
Also ordered the other parts from Digi Key. So... total cost to me was under
$25 for everything shipped. This is enough

I tried JLCPCB for a new PCB, which would have cost me 40$ US at oshpark. I
got 5 boards for 2$ CDN shipped to me in 2 weeks total from submission to
boards in hand.
Wow!
Think I know where I am getting boards made from here out.
