I would check the two 10uF caps that sit on the -5V line in the analog section and replace - they always seem to be bad. There are two further ones on the +5V that should be replaced too. I would personally just replace all the electrolytic caps to eliminate them as a source of the problem. The -

Thanks I have re-inspected the traces around the power supply caps and it looks clean, I have also used lots of IPA and Q-tips to clean the area anyway but still have the issue. I actually do see a low resistance (from 7 ohms to a couple hundred ohms) from VEE to Ground, even with display disco

Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting you actually get all the stuff to build a Feather MounT for Z88 and get an Adafruit Feather board and run PDDuino on it, unless you actually wanted to play with something new and shakey just for the fun of it. It's neat, and it mostly works, but the code runnin
