Update on this - the paperclip test did show data looping back through. I used a simple program called "RealTerm" and everything performed as expected, just fine. For some reason, using Windows CMD prompt ("copy com1: filename.txt", or "copy com1: con:") produces nothing. I *can* send files TO th

I would do John's suggestion with the paper clip loopback test. That tests both your TX and RX in a very quick and easy way. Looking at the back of the M100, you want to jumper pins 2 and 3 together. Pins 2 and 3 are on the top row, all the way to the right except 1. o o o o o o o o o o * *
