I think this is the same info as up at web8201 anyway.

I think it might have originated here, bottom of top/left section.
https://www.web8201.net/default.asp?content=tech.asp .
It is very useful, for the various I/O ports it shows pinouts and how to
control them, etc. It is sort of like all the technical information you would
need to write
Uh, I just tried to download the manual from Steve's Google drive and found
myself unable, as the file was "in the user's trash".
Can we reactivate the link or could someone please PM me with another
solution?

Thanks. Funny that they are so hard to find as you know the factory had to
produce them. Some companies have this idea though that they need to keep such
documentation secret.

Other than a few pinouts, to talk about how to interface to something like the
BCR, LPT, etc. it is about software. Still useful it is just not a hardware
reference manual.

Thanks. That is a software reference, i.e. OS reference rather than a hardware
reference. Still nice to have though.

Uploaded the technical reference manual for PC8300. I have no recollection
where this came from.

Jeffrey,
I have a PC-8300 as well. Like you I had visited Gary Weber's Web8201 site
and retrieved the information available there. But there are enough
differences and options that I too would like to find the manual for the
8300.
If I can find a paper copy I will scan it. Thanks,
