Lol just discovered it's not compatible with my iPod according to their
FAQ! This is the first time I have seen that an app only works for the
iPhone. It will still be useful though for when I get an iPhone. So all
is not lost.

It sort of can. You download them using the itunes app and then oi synch to
yoru mac and it should transfer over.

set up so that any apps or books I download to my computer will be

It's my understanding that the iPhone uses laminated membrane-based PCBs. I
think you could probably get into it but I personally wouldn't try it. It's be
far safer to allow somebody with the correct equipment to repair it for you.
