If you have a Pc and a screen reader you know how to use, together
with some apps you need to use, then there is no advantage at all in
replaceing your PC with a Mac.
There is nothing you can do on a Mac that you can't do on a PC.

Yes, the current minis no longer have this, I think apple removed it too soon,
should have waited another year or 2

Acutally I round the work around maybe. I left the dialogue there for about
half an hour and came back and the full 30 page document showed up as an m4a
file. If I have to do this every time tha'ts rediculous but Im willing to be
patient.

I think this may be a limitation. I am also using Lion and when I tried to
do this with a 30 page text document last week it completely failed.
As you say small clips are fine but anything substantial and I-tunes does
not appear able to cope .

Ibn leopard you open the app or file, navigate to it in the doc, vo shift m
and I think under options hit keep in dock.

What language do you have it set to. Dates are often set and spoken differently
in different parts of the usa and uk.

If it is that kind of mic you need to plug one ned in to the headphone jack snd
one end in to the mic jack. Did you set the max in your input tab le to 100
percent as you will need that as line levels are extremly low by nature.

What cast is it? Perhaps go up to the group name of the podcast, v o shift m
and click show all episodes, then again v o shift m and download all available
episodes. If it doesn't download, then perhaps it is no longer at the source
anymore.
