Yes, this works within an app, You actually press and release the home and
power buttons, which is what distinguishes this action from a hard reset (where
you continue to hold down both buttons). The phone makes a noise like a
shutter closing. You can then find the screen

photo thing. You can do this in an mms as well. just choose attach photo and
choose library and choose the png that you just took.
