Hi Bob
I think it might be relevant here so worth pointing out that since we're
outside of the US, we're not in the same circumstances. I think Lynne is
planning to make me one now anyway. It should be a lot cheaper. :)

Hello Jim -- It is not possible to read by paragraph, line, word or character
in Adobe Digital Editions 1.8 on the Mac. I've pasted below my recent email
detailing some of the shortcomings that still exist in the latest version of
ADE 1.8, which I believe is the fourth preview of this App. Also
Yeah, I prefer iBooks myself, though Alex on the Mac does make for a better
voice than Samantha any day of the week.

There's another ebook reader available from the Mac App Store called Bookol. It
will read DRM-free epub a little better than Stanza will in my experience. It
takes a bit of getting used to, but is a great program.

Hello Jim,
If the epub book is DRM-free, you can use Stanza to read it.

Hi All,
I just published a new Tech Doctor podcast where Jessica Rathwell and I explain
and demonstrate a new app that makes typing on the iOS touch screen easier and
faster for a blind person.
The app is not yet available but this podcast gives you a preview of what is
coming.
