I am trying to record audio from my audio input. When I do this in Audio Hijack
Pro, the audio is not only being recorded; it is also being hijacked, causing
excessive feedback. Do I really need this app, or are there apps out there to
capture audio from either an application and or a

Another one you could try is Amadeus Pro. That does recording without hijacking.
It is also very easy to use. I haven't used it myself yet, but I know friends
who have.

Uncheck the highjack in the tool bar. For some things it is a great app. For
just recording though there are several apps. For simple recording from the
mike there is an ap call audio recorder. It's been a long time since I've
checked their website though so don't know if it works with lion

Okay what I did was select audio device, and then in pop up to the right
internal mike. Then go into tool bar check the mute box. Go ahead then and
check record and it starts then. The highjack will then check too but since
the mute is checked it won't come out over the speakers. The only ot

demos to just recording skype calls I need to record like for documentation

1. option plus t for time and date announcement
2. option plus "S" for safari
3. option plus "m" for mail
How do I do this in mountain lion?

The same wway you do in lion. go to the vo utility and hit cmd 8 for
commanders. then tab to the tabs and big right arrow to keyboard commander then
space on it. Now add the keyboard shortcuts you want and the actions you want.

These shortcuts are available in Lion also. Option M opens up Mail as well.
In Lion you need to have Apple script enabled for date and time reading to
work. I am not sure about ML.
