Hello all. I am trying to record audio from my audio input. When I do this in Audio Hijack Pro, the audio is not only being recorded; it is also being hijacked, causing excessive feedback. Do I really need this app, or are there apps out there to capture audio from either an application and or a

lol. that's why I set my output to a silence mode. It's in the pop up menu. If you don't want to hear your mic know it's still being recorded and that way you can do what ever you want. the only time you won't need the silence mode is when you are hijacking the system audio and you need to recor

Uncheck the highjack in the tool bar. For some things it is a great app. For just recording though there are several apps. For simple recording from the mike there is an ap call audio recorder. It's been a long time since I've checked their website though so don't know if it works with lion

Okay what I did was select audio device, and then in pop up to the right internal mike. Then go into tool bar check the mute box. Go ahead then and check record and it starts then. The highjack will then check too but since the mute is checked it won't come out over the speakers. The only ot
