Ive got time machine setup .
Where on the mac do I change the settings for time machine , like how often and
time?

You will see a message from me earlier saying that all you need to do is
plug an external drive in and then hit the yes button when the Mac asks if
you want to use the drive as a Time Machine backup.
That is all you have to do.

ah so i need to uncheck that box in safari preferences to stop the file playing

what happens when you extract say an audio book you downloaded? even now i have
the archiver it doesn't do anything apart from start playing my book in iTunes,
what i want to do is open the image, copy the files to another location not
hear the files played lol.

I think if yu check the previous messages the new folder in Mail question
was answered yesterday.
Basically hit the new folder button.
Remember item chooser works everwhere so you can search a page for that
button easily using tools like that.

hi all
just wondering how i handle files i've downloaded? they are in my downloads
folder and are zipped so they appear as a image. i opened the image folder
expecting to see the list of cds to be there so i could copy them to another
location, what happened instead was the folder started playi

Hi, just set something downloading and did command option l, it says show
downloads but for some reason it's not letting me in to the downloads window
itself. It is taking me in to the toolbar and I click on the show downloads
option in there but it's not coming up.

Hello Ian,
The Safari downloads window is only there when a download is in progress or if
you haven't removed completed downloads.
In any case, why tab around? Just press Cmd-Option-l and you'll be in the
downloads window.

We removed the anti virus .
He said , to me, that I don't need a virus software .
